Let’s be honest. We have been through a lot in the last few years and it is not over yet. Humanity and mother earth as we knew, do not exist anymore. For me the visions of apocalypse have started at the end of 2019 , but I was really looking forward to 2020 because I love the 1920’s and I kind of blindly expected the same from 2020. But it did not bring along anything like the roaring twenties as we call the decade of freedom when women could get rid off their corsetts, the war was over and people wanted different experiences and carefree living. Behind the scenes

After the first quarantine of 2020 I was hoping I won’t have to model my own designs again, but as 2021 knocked on the door, I was getting more and more sure that it will be necessary for my Marie-Antoinette project. Scheduling a photoshoot is hard enough, but when you have to do it during a pandemic it’s almost impossible. Thanks to my talented photographer boyfriend Tibi and Lucifer, it went pretty well.

Drenkrom at BUDAPEST FASHION WEEK

Drenkrom – Why did I start making clothes?

I always had a passion for clothes,  probably as an inheritance from the women I grew up with and It only got deeper when I started to hang out with punks. You have to look original when you are a punk Started to sew patches, spray stencils, bleach and dye anything I found, later on learnt how to sew properly and soon I realized that if I can make stuff for myself  I can make stuff for others. My aim with creating DRENKROM was also to try and make people go more ethical , more consious about their decisions on what to wear.
